Add a short link

Open Links and choose Add Link. You’ll set:

• Name: a friendly label for admins.
• Short code: the path used in your short URL.
• URL: the destination to redirect to.

Placeholders

Short codes can include placeholders (%%) and the URL must include the same number of placeholders. Any text entered in place of the placeholder will be inserted into the destination URL.

Examples

• Short code: r/%% → URL: https://example.com/resource/%%
  Visiting https://yourmesh.umesh.co/r/guide redirects to https://example.com/resource/guide.

• Short code: profile/%%/%% → URL: https://example.com/u/%%/section/%%
  Visiting .../profile/alex/security redirects to https://example.com/u/alex/section/security.

Segment visibility

If your mesh uses segments, you can limit who can access a link. Leave it blank to allow all members.

Multi‑linking (subscriber feature)

On paid plans you can add up to five additional URLs. When a member uses the short link, those extra URLs open in new tabs.
