Volunteer Roles

Volunteer roles are the jobs people can sign up for — like Setup Crew, Greeter, or Cleanup Team. You create them once for your mesh, then attach them to any event.

Where to find them

In your mesh, open Lists → Volunteer Roles. This shows all the roles you’ve created, with their name and description.

Add a role

Choose Add Role and fill in:

• Role Name: a short name for the job (for example, Setup Crew, Greeter, or Cleanup Team).
• Description: what the role involves. This is shown to volunteers when they click the role name on an event, so it’s worth being clear.

Both fields are required. You can edit or delete roles later from the same list.

Deleting a role

Deleting a role removes it from every event and occurrence that used it. If that leaves an event with no volunteer roles at all, its Ask For Volunteers option (and any share link) is switched off automatically.
